The Goal
The City of Denver’s Office of Children Affairs contracted our team to identify and enhance areas of their communication strategy. We conducted formative research to identify how parents and school-aged children communicate about community resources and developed a digital communication strategy and content based on these behaviors. Our comprehensive approach focused on establishing a consistent social media presence, leveraging digital communication tools, and ensuring ADA compliance on their website.
The Deliverables
- A one-year digital marketing plan and schedule
- A collection of evergreen social media posts (visuals and canned captions) promoting ongoing programs and related holidays/observances (sized for Instagram, Instagram story, and Facebook)
- Created an email newsletter template with original graphics
- SMS marketing (Textedly) account activation with copy and schedule for all reoccurring events and initiatives
- Social Media Manager (Hootsuite) account activation
- Performed ADA compliance updates on the website (captioning photos/videos, adding alternative text to visual elements, etc.)
